Overview


Manifesto



The series of International Conferences UNCONVENTIONAL COMPUTATION (UC) is devoted to all aspects of unconventional computation, theory as well as experiments and applications. Typical, but not exclusive, topics are: natural computing including quantum, cellular, molecular, neural and evolutionary computing; chaos and dynamical systems based computing; and proposals for computations going beyond the Turing model.

UC Website

UC10@Tokyo



UC10 will take place in The University of Tokyo (Sanjo Conference Hall), Hongo Campus, Japan, on June 21-25, 2010. The final day, June 25, is taken for an optional full-day excursion, and no scientific session is scheduled.
The conference is hosted by Dept. of Computer Science, The Univ. of Tokyo and CDMTCS, The Univ. of Auckland. From 2010, UC will be organized under the prestigious auspices of Academia Europaea.

UC Main Program



Papers submitted for UC Main Program will be carefully reviewed by appropriate members of program committee and/or other professionals. All accepted papers will be presented in oral sessions and will appear in the conference proceedings. In addition, UC10 is opened for submissions for poster session to evoke active discussions on ongoing researches.

Satellite Workshops



Satellite workshops, organized by voluntary groups, will run in parallel with UC Main Program.

The proceedings will be published by Springer's Lecture Notes in Computer Science (LNCS) series and will be available at the conference. Authors are invited to submit papers online.
